We are looking for a Senior Scientist 100% – Windows Remediation Project.

Fixed-term for 1 year with an option for extension

QC Analytical Technology supports the QC Operations teams by implementing, validating, and transferring analytical methods, procedures, and technologies to support current and future products and processes.

This key role within QC has been created to provide the best possible support for the Windows Remediation Project in Bern. You will act as a link between the QC areas (Microbiology, Biochemistry, and Chemistry) and the relevant support functions (Instrumentation, Laboratory Execution System, and Analytical Technologies).

The goal of the project is to replace the remaining Windows XP systems.
This may involve simple software updates, but in some cases, analytical systems may need to be replaced, requiring the requalification of associated methods.
Depending on the candidate’s background, corresponding task packages can be assigned, which can then be independently executed in coordination with other SMEs.

Typical tasks include:
Participation in coordination meetings
Equipment and software qualification
Method transfer, including parameterization
Updating existing documentation
Implementation into routine operations

The ideal candidate has a degree in natural sciences in the field of Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Microbiology. Experience in a GMP environment, quality control, and IT systems is preferred. To fulfill this role, we expect an independent and proactive work style, technical interest, an aptitude for writing documentation, and excellent written and spoken English and German skills.

Are you also an enthusiastic individual with quick comprehension skills who values teamwork and is motivated to take on a new field of work? Then you have the optimal qualifications to successfully complete this project with us.
