OVERVIEW

We are currently searching for a skilled professional to join a well-known client’s team as a Medical Adviser in Bridgewater, New Jersey.  The Medical Adviser role will perform the medical and regulatory evaluation of all individual case safety reports (ICSRs) for assigned cases. Their work will have a direct impact on not just the organization but the larger clinical industry making this an amazing career opportunity. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review, evaluate and follow up of ICSRs
  • Identify reportable cases
  • Create case series for analysis of similar events (inclusion in FDA submissions for IND, preparation for SAT)
  • Present contextualized ICSRs at safety meetings

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 3-year patient-care experience is required
  • At least 1-2 years of pharmacovigilance database (AERS, ARGUS) experience 
  • Experience in MedDRA coding
  • Experience in regulatory inspections and internal audits
  • Thorough knowledge of regulations (e.g., FDA and EMA, PMDA)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent in English

EDUCATION

  • MD degree or PharmD
